Hey y’all,

Hope you’re having a good summer so far. There are a couple of events coming your way in September that we’d like you to know about and a new way to access them.

First of all, I hope that you check out our new Google Calendar, linked to our e-mail address over at travelingterps [at] gmail.com. We are live and we have some stuff up there now, and only more things are going to come up in the future (meetings, lecturers, International Coffee Hour, and so on and so forth). So go over to calendar.google.com and check it out.

So what’s on this calendar, you may wonder? Well, there’s a couple of things on for Setpember, to start.

On September 2, the Study Abroad Office will be hosting a Returnee Reception and Dinner in the Banneker Room of Stamp Student Union. There, exchange students coming in will be meeting with students who studied abroad for Spring or Summer 2008. They’ll get to introduce (or re-introduce) each other, listen to an awesome speaker, and find out how they can go abroad again, as a student or as a professional. Oh yeah, and it’ll be catered by Subway for FREE so show up to chow down. Just please RSVP first.

Also, on Sepember 9, the Study Abroad Fair will be happening from 10-4 in the Grand Ballroom of Stamp Student Union. Be sure to check it out to see how you can Study Abroad; again or for the first time. If you’ve already studied abroad, loved it, and would like to volunteer, please give the Study Abroad Office a holler.
